Willie James "Boo" Ellington passed away on February 16, 2021 at University of Iowa Hospital after a brief illness. Willie was born March15, 1968 in Salis, Mississippi to Lucille Ellington and Willie Flowers. Boo enjoyed fishing, music, and playing cards. He loved to spend time with friends and family, especially during family barbecues. He will be greatly missed by many. Willie "Boo" is survived by his children: Kea Hall of Goodman, MS, Willie Ellington Jr. Of Waterloo, IA, Jordan Shay-Ellington of Iowa City, IA, and Bella Uhlenhopp of Forest City, IA. He is also survived by a grandchild and 10 siblings. Willie was proceeded in death by his parents Lucille Ellington & Willie Flowers and two brothers and a sister.
