Wayne Joseph Kaloides passed away on November 11th, 2025, in Des Moines Iowa. Wayne was born to James and Alice Kaloides on February 29th, 1948. Wayne is preceded in death by his beloved mother Alice Kaloides and his father James Kaloides also his brother William Kaloides and brother Stanley and his sister in law Jolene Kaloides. Wayne is survived by his niece Thelmajean (Doug) Venteicher, his nephew Chad (Krista) Kaloides, his nephews Jim, Tom, and Mike Kaloides. His great nephews Kaleb Venteicher, Sutton, Declan Kaloides, his great nieces Molly, Gracie Venteicher, Kayla Kaloides and his cousin Jeann Debiaggo. Wayne was born and lived in Des Moines his whole life. Wayne loved his family and friends dearly and would do anything for them. He loved old cars and motorcycles and could tell you anything about them. He was a volunteer with Make-A-Wish Foundation for many years and would visit sick children in the hospital to make them laugh and bring happiness to them. And so many more memories and stories of him bringing happiness and joy to so many people. Wayne loved his Cyclones. Wayne worked as a truck driver most of his life and really enjoyed it. Wayne loved going golfing in retirement and enjoyed it very much. Celebrate Life Iowa is in charge of the cremation and his ashes will be scattered according to his wishes by his family. Wayne will be missed deepley and sadly by his family and friends, especially his once-a-month breakfast club. The family would love to thank everyone for their kindness and support.
