Sherilynn Ohl passed away on January 26th, 2026 at the University of Iowa Hospitals after a brief illness. She was born to Sherrie & Dan Ohl on August 17th, 1970 at the University of Iowa Hospitals. She was born a tiny human only weighing 3 lbs but she beat all odds and showed how mighty she was. She graduated from Westwood Highschool, Ft Pierce, FL in 1988. She worked for 15 + years at the Iowa 80 Truckstop as a cook. She fed many masses of people through her employment there. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and collecting pig figurines. She is lovingly remembered by her Father, sisters Angie (Shane) Lane, Gina (Dustin) Wenzel, Brandy (Chad) Kononovs. Her nieces Michelle (Mark) Baldwin, Audrey Wenzel, nephews Kyle (Chelsie) Lane, Mason Wenzel, and great nieces and nephews. Proceeding her in death is her mother, Sherrie Ohl. Paternal grandparents Jack and Orpha Ohl, Maternal grandparents Martha Blanton and Alex Diminovich. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Any memorials can be made to the Scott County Humane Society as she also had a passion for animals and always believed in kindness.
