Sharon was born September 7, 1946 at Grinnell Community Hospital to Robert and Thelma (McMeekin) Gooch. She passed away on December 27, 2018. She attended school attended school at Norwalk, Martensdale, Swan, and graduating from Pleasantville High School. Sharon retired from Mercy Hospital for 30 years of taking care of newborns. She is survived by her sons, Corey, Chris and Craig Hiatt, her sisters Karen Gooch of Paso Robles, CA, and Robin Gooch Wilson of La Crosse, WI, her brother, Randy Gooch of Pleasantville, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and cousins. A special thank you, to our niece, Terrie Nebel for all her help for the last few years. Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hiatt, her parents, Robert Gooch and Thelma Gooch, her sisters Pam Gooch and Debbie Gooch, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins Sharon was a kind, sweet soul who deserved better. May she rest in peace. No service is planned.
