Roy Kotval 90, of Sheldon, IA, passed away on November 20, 2020, due to Covid-19 complications. Roy was born to Albert and Hazel Kotval on April 8 1930 in the Cottonwood, Minnesota area where they engaged in farming. Roy was married to Virginia, the love of his life who passed away in 2012. Roy worked many years in the insurance business. Roy enjoyed reading and visiting. On October 12, 2016 Roy's life was taken over by the Iowa Office Of Public Guardian who admitted him to the Sheldon, IA Sanford Senior Center without any legal representation for Roy. While there Roy came to know Ray Ehrman and Elder Advocate Jay Driesen, who visited Roy every week.
