Robert Robbie Lee Smith, 23 of Des Moines passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, September 1st at 1:00 pm at the Eternity House 1080 22nd Street in Des Moines. Burial will follow at a later date. Robbie was born on June 17, 1991 in Des Moines, Iowa to Linda Conner and David Smith. He attended Des Moines schools and was a boy scout growing up. He had a kind heart and was a gentle giant. Robbie was a member of the YMCA. He had a great love for camping and could easily live off of the land. Robbie enjoyed playing video games, riding and working on bikes and he loved animals, most especially dogs. He was loved by his family.
