Quinten Wayne Brown, 45, of Oskaloosa, passed away on May 30 th at his home. He was born April 6, 1979, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Shirley and Roger Brown. He graduated from Oskaloosa High School with the class of 1997 where he was in choir and show choir. When younger, he played baseball in What Cheer. Following high school, he went on to study at Indian Hills Community College. Quinten worked at various jobs including being a volunteer firefighter in Oskaloosa. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing whenever he could, but his real joy in life was his children. Quinten is survived by his parents, Shirley Cummins and Roger Brown; sister Jessikay Thompson (Bo), brother Ryan Brown (Shawntae); former wife, Brandi Brown and their children, Hunter and Logen Brown; former wives Emily Scholtus and Jamie Brown; Aunt Sandra Dellinger, niece Libby Thompson and nephew Donovan Thompson; and three of the most loyal dogs: Gus, Remington and Buddy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Veda Ewald, Darrel and Marie Brown, Aunt Korrin Sullivan and niece Abigail.
