Patrick McCormick September 10, 1978 - December 26, 2020 Patrick Michael McCormick 42, of Pleasant Hill, Iowa passed away December 26, 2020. Patrick is survived by his son, Connor McCormick, siblings Windy Gale, Ronnie Gale and Amy Gale, nieces and nephews Katie Gale, Bret Barden, Jessica Barden, Kasahara Orozco, Amanda Gale, Ashlee Davis, James Gale, Joey Gale, Dakota Gale, Joshua Gale, Matthew Ottum. Patrick was a diehard Green Bay Packers, Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed playing slow-pitch softball. Patrick loved spending time with Connor and their dog Wrigley. Patrick enjoyed teaching Connor how to drive on the backside of country roads. They loved watching horse races at Prairie Meadows & loved their countless dinners and Tokyo Steakhouse. Patrick was predeceased by his father Michael McCormick, mother Doris Gale, siblings Marti Gale and Tommy Gale and nephew Jason Gale. A celebration of life will be held at Fireside Grille (523 8th Street SE, Altoona, Iowa) on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 3 - 5 pm. Flowers can be sent to Fireside Grille. Memorial donations may be made in his son Connor McCormick's name.
