Nancy Grace Jones (Whitters), 67, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Saturday, January 28th, at Oldorf Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mildred Whitters, her brother David Whitters, and her sister Jeanne Slickty (Whitters). Nancy is survived by her children, Christopher Potter and Casey Mulligan (Potter); her grandchildren Kaden & Kyrie Potter, Nikolas Potter, Kaliah Vestal and Max Mulligan; her siblings Carole and Marty Whitters, and 5 nieces and nephews. Nancy could brighten anyone's day with her clever wit and sense of humor. She held her friends and neighbors at Commonwealth Apartments in high regard. She had a passion for plants and her kitties and the natural world. She enjoyed reading, cross stitching, painting blown-out eggs and had many other hobbies. She loved her family and friends deeply and will be greatly missed.
