Michael Timms of Waterloo Iowa, passed away on December 18, 2022, after a long illness; he was 52. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Timms of Waterloo, Iowa, son Johnathan Twigg of Waterloo, Iowa and brother Danny Batey of Waco, Georgia He is preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Timms of Gainesville Georgia, his father, Paul Timms of Braselton, Georgia and his sister, Carol Batey of Gainesville, Georgia. Michael Timms was born on December 23, 1970. He was married to Elizabeth Timms for 29 years. He was a graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville, Georgia and Lanier Technical College in Oakwood, Georgia where he received a diploma in machine technology. Michael Timms enjoyed asphalt, dirt and go cart racing which he enjoyed with his son Johnathan Twigg. Michael Timms had sense of humor and always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone he met.
