Obituary

Konnor Starkey Meth, 33, of Sperry, Ia, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 8:31 a.m., surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Konnor was born on October 11, 1992, in Mount Pleasant, Ia, to Kermit Meth of Danville, Ia and Katrina Starkey of Burlington, Ia.

Konnor married Alexia Cox and together they had 5 beautiful children. He is survived by his wife, Alexia Meth of Sperry; their five children, Brynn Aspen, Emma Jean, Jaxon Luther, Charlie Mae, and Konnor Starkey Jr.; his brothers, Kolton Meth and Ryan (Paige) Snaadt; his sister, Liberty Meth; his parents, Kermit and Diane Meth, and, Katrina Starkey; his grandmother, Mae Meth; and his grandparents, George and Sally Starkey.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, his maternal grandmother, and one cousin.

Konnor graduated from Mediapolis High School with the Class of 2011. Before his cancer diagnosis, he worked as a fabricator for Afinitas in Mediapolis, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

Konnor loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed golfing, boating, riding motorcycles and ATVs, and making memories with family and friends. Above all else, Konnor cherished being a husband and father. His greatest joy in life was spending time with Alexia and their children, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Throughout his illness, he faced each challenge with remarkable courage and determination. Though his time here was far too short, Konnor's strength, kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

In keeping with Konnor's wishes, no formal funeral or memorial service will be held. A Celebration of Konnor's Life will be held at the Moose Lodge in Mount Pleasant, Ia on July 11th, 2026 at 4 p.m.
