John Eugene Schultz was born on November 15, 1959, and passed away at the age of 66 on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He was the son of John E. and Lucille Arlene Schultz, brother of Mary Kay Schultz, and half-brother of Judith Annette Cook. He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, and his half-sister, Judith. John was a lifelong resident of Stanwood, Iowa. He attended Lincoln Community School in Mechanicsville and Stanwood, Iowa. He worked as a grain elevator laborer, a concrete laborer, and most recently as a diesel parts department associate. His hobby and passion were 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s Chevrolet muscle cars. He loved collecting them, working on them, and most of all, driving them. He also enjoyed 1970s hard rock music and spending time with friends and family. John will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all those whose lives he touched. A private memorial event may be held at a date yet to be determined.
