John Hews, Sr. passed away peacefully on January 29, 2019 at Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 1 at Valley Church, 4343 Fuller Road, in West Des Moines. A private family burial will be held at a later date. John was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Hews, John Hews Jr., their mother Pam Hews, and granddaughter Mia Bhramdat; siblings Danny Hews, Suzy Hews, Fred Hews and Cindy Magneson; along with many nieces and nephews.
