Jan Darwin Page was born on August 22, 1950 to parents Mearl and Doris Page.   The family resided on a farm in Milford Iowa, where he was the youngest of three boys.   Jan attended the local country school, where he graduated from High School.  He lived in the northwest region of Iowa the majority of his adult life, where he worked as a craftsman, and there was always a cat or two in the house.  He married twice, and is twice widowed.  

In the final years of his life, Jan resided in the Des Moines, Iowa metro area.  There, he built a community of close friends who considered him family.  Those close to him described him as wise, as he enjoyed sharing stories from his past.  On a nice day, you could find him fishing with friends.
