Jan Lingard

Jan Eberhardt Lingard, age 62 passed away August 8, 2026, in the comfort of her sister's home in Des Moines. 

Jan battled cancer for approximately 1 ½ years. Jan was raised in Garwin, daughter of Donald and Sandra Eberhardt. Jan's siblings are Kirk, Teresa, Cara, and Dona. She married and later divorced Kevin Lingard. From this marriage, Kevin, Ian, and Eric were born. She has four grandchildren: Anna, Elle, Otto, and Ivvi. These kids meant the world to her, as did her cat, Porter.

Jan is survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Preceded in death by her parents, son Eric and sister Cara
