James Patrick Taylor, also known as “Jim” or “JT,” age 75, of Fowler, Illinois, was born April 4, 1951, to James and Rose Marie Taylor. He grew up in rural Parnell, Iowa, and was raised in a home grounded in faith, compassion, and enduring love.

Jim stepped into the presence of Jesus on August 14, 2026, doing something he loved, with the wind on his face. Though his passing was sudden, his body held on long enough for his wife, daughters, and sons-in-law to surround him, pray over him, thank him for all he had given each of them, and say goodbye. It was a holy moment that reflected the way he lived—wrapped in love, prayer, and God’s presence.
