Jacob “Jake” Tyler Aves

July 13, 1994 - May 20, 2026

Jake Aves, 31, of Atlantic, passed away unexpectedly on May 20, 2026.

Jake was born to Robyn and Michael. Jake was immensely passionate and a deep thinker. To those closest to him, he was also goofy, playful, and kind at heart. He was generous with what he had, whether it was his time, knowledge of how to fix things, or unexpected gifts. He loved cars, roller coasters–especially Cedar Point–competitive games, and Rocket League. Jake also loved traveling with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy; her children, Dom and Chloe; his mother, Robyn; his father, Michael (Amy); his sister, Mallory; his brother-in-law, Colton; his sister, Hydie; and friends and family who loved him dearly.

Jake will be remembered for who he was, who he wanted to be, and the strength and perseverance through his battles on this side of heaven. Jake gave his life to the Lord in early 2025 and is now united to Christ in heaven.

A service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, at 11:00 am at Redeemer Winterset. There will be a luncheon following the service.
