HOWARD CHARLES KLEMMER 10/14/1937 - 01/30/2024 "Howie" of Pilot Mound, Iowa left his earthly home for a peaceful life in heaven following a short illness. He left behind his beloved daughter; Sheri Klemmer Fakouri, Son-in-Law; Chris Fakouri, Grandson; Quentin Hutchinson, - of Des Moines, Iowa, Brother; John D. Klemmer and wife Kathryn, Sisters; Constance C. Klemmer Pecht, Patricia A. Klemmer Hatton - all of Hiawassee, Georgia, Beverly K. Klemmer Copeland and husband Tom, of Blairsville, Georgia. Eight nieces and nephews. Howie was the oldest of 8 children born to Edward J. Klemmer and Agatha M. Mihm Klemmer. He was born at home in Saint Lucas, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Norma J. Blumberg Klemmer (1995), Brother; Ronald J. Klemmer (1981), Sister; Jeanette K. Klemmer Evans (2014); Brother; William E. Klemmer (1950), Mother, Father, Stepfather, Mother and Father In-Law. Howie served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in the 50's. He worked for many years in the construction business then for Iowa State University maintenance dept. He loved to play golf and was quite the joker. A peaceful man with a very laid back personality.
