Harold Max Day, 86, went to be with the Lord on August 21st, 2021. Max Day was born May 7, 1935 in Garden Grove, IA; the son of Oscar and Hazel (Helton) Day. He was united in marriage to Beulah Joyce Reynolds on February 24, 1957. Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage and owned Brothers 3 Manufactured Homes in Cedar Rapids for over 32 years. Max is survived by his wife Joyce; two sons, Bryon (Kathleen) Day & Timothy (Jeanna) Day; Grandchildren, Jordan (Chris) Hanson, Darby Day, Jamison Day, Benjamin Day, and Nicole Day; Great granddaughter Claire Hanson. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Clifford Day, Junior Day, Lester(Margaret) Day, Dorothy(Richard) Cassity, Neal Day, Don Day, Helen (Ray) Loy; Mother and father-in-law Betty(Leland) Johnson and Loren Craft. A celebration of life will take place Saturday September 11 , 2021 at Walford City Hall, 120 5th St N. Walford, IA from 12-4pm. A very special thanks to the loving staff of Unity Point Hospice in Cedar Rapids and Anamosa Care Center for caring for Max during his time with them.
