Gary D. Rick 69, of Marion passed away on July 25, 2021of liver cancer. He was predeceased by his first wife of 29 years, Barbara (Phillips) Rick, his father Paul Rick, his mother Norma (Albones) Rick, a brother Keith, and a sister Darlene (Rick) Hepker. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Mahoney, a son Christopher Rick, a daughter Holley Rick, a heart adopted daughter Sharon Elias, a sister Marilyn (Rick) Reynolds, 4 granddaughters, 2 heart-adopted grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Gary was a retiree of Midwest Wheel Corporation of Cedar Rapids, where he was a delivery driver. He considered himself an Old Hippee and his favorite past time was riding his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle. There will be no funeral services but a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Any memorials for Gary should be sent to his wife, Lisa Mahoney, 1345 Terrace St, Marion, IA 52302.
