Gary Allen Nixt, 62, of West Des Moines, Iowa was born on August 23rd, 1957 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and passed away on Thursday, June 20th 2019 at the Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa. Gary was both courageous and optimistic throughout his long illness. He was a passionate sales and business man, a polished story and joke teller and in recent years, a talented photo artist. Gary loved his family and the many dear friends he had made over the years from his home town of Charles City to his time in the Des Moines area, St Joseph - Kansas City, St. Louis and Green Bay.
