Felipe Mendoza Cruz, 62, passed away on June 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Felipe was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, dedication, and love for those around him. He married Mayra Mendoza in 1994, and together they built a family filled with love, strength, and cherished memories.

He is survived by his wife, Mayra Mendoza; his children, Wendy Rivera (Jose Figueroa), Mayra Mendoza, Felipe Mendoza (Cristel Juarez), Josh Mendoza (Tiara Formaro), and Abigail Weitzell (Brandon Weitzell); and his treasured grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.

Felipe was known as a hardworking man who never hesitated to provide for and support his family. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, cooking, and making memories with his grandchildren. His love for the outdoors and the time he shared with family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Felipe’s strength, kindness, and dedication to his family will leave a lasting impact on everyone whose lives he touched. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

A private family burial will be held.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
