Elizabeth "Liz" Nelson, 66, of Des Moines, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Mercy Hospice House in Johnston, Iowa. No services are planned at this time. Liz requested memorials in her name be made to Forever Home Dog Rescue, PO Box 380, Johnston, Iowa, 50131 or to the Des Moines Animal Rescue League.
