Duane Wauters, 61 of Des Moines, former resident of Brooklyn, IA, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023. Duane was born to Louis E. Wauters and Yolanda Schwab Wauters Timm in Grinnell, Iowa on April 3, 1962. He was raised in Brooklyn on the family farm. He attended Brooklyn-Guernsey-Malcom schools. Duane was preceded in death by his loving parents, Louis and Yolanda, his sisters: Denise Wauters and Diane Wauters, brother Daniel ( Danny) Wauters. He is survived by one brother, Donald (Shelley) Wauters of Altoona, IA.
