Donald Joseph York, 59, of Jefferson , passed away Sunday October 2, 2022 at his home in Jefferson, Iowa with his wife by his side. He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Marion and two sisters, Donna and Denise, and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins all of Maine. His wife Michelle, three children, Amie Kniffin, April Kniffin, Jesse (Harmony) Kniffin all of Jefferson, Iowa. Nine grandchildren, Landon, Jon, Ashlynne, Brooklynne, Jacob, Jordan, Alex, Chorus, Chandler. He is preceeded in death by infant granddaughter Emma. Donald loved life, loved camping, boating, fishing, anything outdoors and loved being in his work shop. Donal followed his wife to Iowa so they could be near the kids and grandkids but Maine was his "Happy Place".
