Diane Elaine Johnson, 77, of Des Moines, passed away on February 7, 2021at home, surrounded by her family. Diane was born June 26, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to George and Florence Roberts of Marion, Iowa. She was welcomed home by her sisters, and her brother. When Diane was eleven years old, the family relocated to Boone, Iowa. Diane was a 1961 graduate of Boone High School. On March 23, 1963, Diane married Gary Johnson, also of Boone. To this union, two daughters were born; Pamela Sue, and Lori Elaine. Preceding Diane in death; her parents, husband Gary, infant daughter Pamela, two sisters (Virginia and Marilyn), and her brother, Jim. Those left to honor her memory; daughter Lori, grandson Jim, sister Ruth (Walter) Grimes, and numerous nieces and nephews; and furbabies RainE' and Lucy.
