Denise Dawn Johnston was born in Perry, Iowa on November 10th, 1955. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by family on August 22, 2022. She is survived by her husband Ken, daughters Jessica and Jennifer, Steve Jacobson,5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sister Kim(Mark) Weyers, brother Mike(Sandy) McDowell, and numerous loving relatives. She is preceded in death by her mom Mary and dad Richard McDowell. She was an over the road truck driver with Ken for 38 years. She loved animals, playing cards and Yahtzee with friends and family. She also loved playing Bingo and trips to the casino. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at their home on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at 1:00pm.
