Daryl Gustafson, 74, of Boone, Iowa, passed away on July 30, 2023. Daryl was born February 25, 1949 in Boone, Iowa to parents Paul and Elizabeth(McMahon) Gustafson. He graduated United Community in 1967 and Boone Junior College in 1969. He also attended Iowa State University. Daryl was always known as "Uncle Daryl," even to those he was not an uncle to. He made every family gathering he attended memorable. Those left to cherish Daryl's memory include his siblings; sister Barb (Ron) Ginther of Waukee, Iowa, brother Gary (Beth) Gustafson of Boone, Iowa, brother Brian (Kathy) Gustafson of Boone, Iowa, and brother Rich (Tammy) Gustafson of Boone, Iowa; and many neices and nephews as well as long time friends. Daryl is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth Gustafson, his brother Paul Gustafson, and his sister Katherine Miller.
