Daniel Sanders Sr., 68, of Davenport, Iowa passed away surrounded by his family, on December 10, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic in Iowa City, Iowa. Memorial services will be held at a later date. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 13, 1954, to Delores (Sam) and Renah (Walker) Sanders. He grew up in Waterloo, Iowa where he started working as a roofer. He lived in Cedar Rapids and in Davenport. He enjoyed playing Nintendo, fishing, camping, watching crime shows, and going to the casinos. Those left to cherish his memory are his children Daniel Sanders Jr., Amyjo Revolorio, and Melissa Holmes (Marvis) grandchildren: Tyra, Nolasco, Damon, Domion, Anthony, great-grandchild: Zayden Leon; brothers John (Jackie) Sanders and David (Cheryl) Sanders, sister-in-law Diane Borel, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Sanders, sisters Carla (Bob) Gletty and Ella Mae Sanders.
