Creig Anthony Dudley passed away peacefully at the age of 60, on December 13, 2025, in Grinnell, Iowa, surrounded by his family while under the care of Hospice. Per his wishes, he was cremated with no visitation or funeral services.
Creig was born on September 6, 1965, in Iowa City, IA, to Earnest and Wanetta Dudley. After Wanetta's passing, he was raised by his aunt and uncle, Paul and Judy Dudley, graduating from Union-Whitten High School in 1985. On September 2, 1995, he married DeAnn Rawlings, and was married for 23 years. He worked as a laborer for most of his adult life before fulfilling his dream of becoming a semi driver in 2000. When not in the truck, Creig loved to go camping, hunting, and cooking with his smoker. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and rarely sat still, helping anyone he could, however he could.
Creig is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, an infant sister, nephew, and aunt.
Creig is survived by his two children, Shane Rawlings, and Cassandra Dudley Miller; grandchildren, Xander, Connor, and Greyson; bonus grandchildren, Josiah, Parker, and Norah; brothers and sisters, Kevin, Randy, Rhonda, Sheryl, Lori, Sonya, and Tisha; his closest friends, Scott Bumsted, and Juanita (Charlie) Kendall, along with multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and foster brothers.
His children would like to express their sincere appreciation to Hospice and everyone who supported Creig and his family through his final journey.
