Clark Reed Lambertz, 66, died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home in Altoona. A celebration of life visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Raccoon River Lodge , 2500 Grand Ave., in West Des Moines, IA. A memorial service will follow and begin at 7:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Clark was born May 3, 1952, in Council Bluffs (IA) to William and Janet Lambertz. Clark passed too soon, but his life was filled with laughter, live music, trivia, uncanny luck with lottery tickets, passion for Iowa State University athletics, call-in sports talk radio, all things soccer, horticulture, and last, but not least, love for his family. Clark will also be missed as a faithful postman who recently retired after serving 19 years with the United States Postal Service. Clark is survived by his loving sons Christopher (Alaina) and William, brother John (Gail), niece Allyn (Angela), and a wealth of other family and friends. Clark was preceded in death by his wife Kathy, father William and mother Janet.
