Chris A. Chrisman, 52, of Shellsburg, Iowa passed away peacefully at the Donna and Dennis Oldorf hospice house located in Hiawatha Iowa surrounded by his wife, Mary, of 27 years, and his son Coby following a sudden illness.

Chris was born September 21, 1973 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Frank Chrisman and Frances Baird. Chris had a passion for life and enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. Chris showed compassion and enjoyed seeing others happy. Chris enjoyed playing pool, getting together with his friends, and spending time with his close family. Chris had a passion for creativity and enjoyed drawing and tattooing. Chris was also an avid Chicago Bears fan, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and jamming out to all types of music.

Chris is survived by his wife Mary of 27 years, his son Coby, his daughter Mikayla (David), his two grandchildren Gianna and Roman, his sister Lynn, and brother Bart.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Kevin Chrisman, and brother Jack Chrisman.

Chris will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for him.

No services will be held at this time.

A small Celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.
