Brenda Lea Spain

Brenda Lea Spain, 60, of Newton, Iowa, formerly of Edinburg and Taylorville, Illinois, passed away on July 1, 2026, at Accura HealthCare in Newton, Iowa.

Brenda was born on December 11, 1965, in Taylorville, Illinois, to Robert and Shirley Spain.

She is survived by her daughters, Amber (Ed) Pocklington of Carlinville, Illinois, and Megan Spain (Jason Pauley) of Springfield, Illinois; her grandchildren, Sierra Brown (fiancé, Matt Justice), Jasmyne Pauley, Jason Pauley Jr., Iayruha Zoegele, Au'Jena Richard, Rylen Richard, and Yunnk Richard; her siblings, Cheryl Schuster of Belleville, Illinois, Mike Spain of Edinburg, Illinois, Denise (Warren) Blankschen of Gautier, Mississippi, and Theresa Bright of Divernon, Illinois; as well as seven nieces and nephews and eighteen great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Shirley Spain, and her daughter, Alora Richard.

In accordance with Brenda's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place at a later date.
