BONNIE MAYSE ALLISON 1940-2023 Bonnie Allison, 83 passed away peacefully at her home in Ankeny surrounded by family on Monday. She was born on February 28, 1940, in Des Moines. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don, her parents Harry Mayse and Bonita Erickson, her brothers Harry, John, Howard, and Victor, her children Rhonda and Johnny, and her great-granddaughter Shaina. She is survived by her siblings Jackie, Kay, and Larry, her daughters Tammy, Deana, Lou, Joyce, and Sass. She was beloved by her grandchildren Michael, Cyrus, Johnny, Ryan, Ricky, Samuel, Jonny, Zac, Sina, and Jackson. She was a great-grandmother to Jordan, Sydney, Kennedy, Cash, Harper, Ruby, and Noah. Finally, a loving great-great grandmother to Jace, Ryatt, Ryker, and Taytum. After many years employed, Bonnie retired from UPS. She enjoyed time with her family and girls from work, as well as the occasional trip to the casino. Her calling was to care for her children and her grandchildren, which she adored. She will missed by all that loved her and knew her.
