Armon Fennel Diggs, 62, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on January 7, 2022 at home with a battling cancer. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on January 20, 1959, son of Anita L Swanson and the late Marvene F Diggs. He attended school in Des Moines, and earned his GED. His hobbies were gambling and he became the best dice player in the Des Moines area. Armon is survived by his wife Roxanne (Courtney) Diggs; sons Armon F. Diggs II, Rominque Cabbell-Diggs, and Marty Craig; step-son John Spencer; mother Anita Swanson; siblings Bragina Diggs, Terry Jewett, and Joel Williamson; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He lived in a neighborhood called "The Ponderosa" behind the Woodland Cemetery. He was the most giving, kind, helpful and generous person that you could ever meet. Armon could always light up a room with his smile and mannerism. This man was loved by his family, very many friends, and even acquaintances. He will be greatly missed. Armon has been cremated and his celebration of life service will be held during the summer, therefore everyone that wants to come, can come without worrying about snow.
