Anthony "Tony" Robert Bruns, age 60, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. Tony was born April16, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI to Sally and Jerry Bruns. He graduated from Washington High School Vinton, IA, senior class press (no less).he worked as a dog trainer /handler at the grey hound dog tracks before becoming disabled with health issues. Tony had an infectious smile that could light up a room. He loved his dogs, country music, John Wayne, and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed holidays with his family and loved his nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Cecilia and Luke Bruns, maternal grandparents Agnes and Bob Hall, and parents Sally Bruns and Jerome Bruns. Tony is survived by his siblings Mike (Kim) Bruns, sister Wendy Bruns, brother Andy (Karen) Bruns; nieces and nephews Jeff, Jenna, Michael Bruns, Atalia, Amara, Jai, Davis, Tessa, and Cody; great nieces and nephews Wyatt, Makenzie, Cassie, Klinn, JJ, Kamryn, Jai and Liam; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
