Allen P. Baker, 66 of Cedar Rapids passed away on July, 31, 2015 at the Willow Garden Care Center in Marion, Iowa. Per his wishes he has been cremated and no services are planned. Allen was born to Elmer and Betty (Prather) Baker in Ames, Iowa on November 12, 1948. Following school he work as a Transit Director for Linns County Lifts and retired in 2001. Those left to cherish his loving memories are his wife Jeanne Baker, step-son William (Lisa) Bennett, step-daughter Candice Bennett, mother Betty Baker; sisters Claudia Baker and Cathy (Esteban) Ballester, seven grandchildren; Ethan, Bowen, Annabelle, Cory, Jamie (Anna), Alissa, and Keegan, and 4 step-grandchildren.
